All casement windows are fitted with high security friction hinges and multi-point locking, meeting and
surpassing the requirements of BS7950. Egress hinges are available as an option, for easy cleaning and
fire escape situations.
This design provides an excellent solution where cleaning the outside pane is required from within the room.
Up to 8 locking points ensures highly effective security and superb weather performance. The hinge and
locking system enables the window to operate in two ways. A simple rotation of the handle tilts the window
into the ventilation position. A further rotation allows the window to open in for easy cleaning.
For added safety, a tilt restrictor is fitted to reduce the risk of the window being fully opened
accidentally. All windows incorporate a unique sash lifter to ensure trouble-free operation and are
available with face fix or concealed gearing.
